In Acts 9:20 we read that after the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, he heralded to all those around, that the same Jesus whom He had hated and persecuted is the Son of God. How this must of astonished the Jews in the synagogues that this man, who once was the representative of the high priest to wipe out the name of the Lord Jesus and his disciples, was now boldly proclaiming the glory of the Lord Jesus. Up until this point in the book of Acts, the other apostles proclaimed the Lord Jesus as the Son of David, the king of Israel to the Jews. But Paul, the Apostle of the Gentiles, had a glimpse of His higher and heavenly glories as the Son of God and Head of the Church. Let us explore the glory of the Lord through the eyes of Paul together this week.
