Bible Minute: Walk With God

In Genesis 5 we read that Enoch had a family and walked with God. To walk with God does not require you to shut yourself out from the world. Enoch was a practical man who raised a family and did all to the glory of God. He, even with the responsibilities of a husband and father found time to testify to his generation regarding the judgment that was coming on the world. Too often we leave the preaching and teaching to the so-called clergy, and consider ourselves laymen. I assure you, there is no such distinction in the Bible. We are all called to walk with God in our homes, spend time in His word, and testify to this generation what we have learned form God’s holy word. May we have the testimony that we pleased God.
