Bible Minute: Power Over Sin and Death

In Romans 1:4 Paul begins his letter by saying that Jesus Christ our Lord is the Son of God with power, and this is proved by resurrection of the dead. Resurrection is what distinguishes Christianity from all other religions. What good would all the great teachings of Romans be if Paul did not begin Romans by showing the Jesus Christ has power over death? There are many religions that teach, anyone can teach, but no religious teaching is worth anything if that religious leader can’t solve the problem of sin and death. The Son of God has power over sin and death and the grave. We have a mighty Savior. And since He rose, we shall all rise. He said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” Can any other religion say that and prove it?
