Bible Minute: Honor Your Parents

In Genesis 9 we read that God cursed Canaan for the sin of his father ham. But what did ham do? Ham simply told others about the sin of his father. We are living in days where there is great disrespect of Children towards thier parents. The other 2 sons of Noah covered their Fathers sin and honored him even when he failed. If you are a young boy or girl listening to me, you are bound by responsibility to God to honor your parents even if at time they are dishonorable. You are to obey them because it is right! You will receive a great blessing in this life and in the life to come for you obedience to God in this matter. And parents, seek to avoid dishonoring him, and raise your children by your example of obedience to the Word.
