Bible Minute: Are You Ignorant? Part 2

In Romans 11:25 we read that Paul did not want the Roman believers to be ignorant of a secret. That secret was the fact that Israel’s callousness was only temporary. Paul in Romans had been teaching salvation to the Gentiles, and the Gentiles were becoming proud and thinking that God was finished with Israel. But nothing can be further from the truth. God made promises to that beloved nation that he will fulfill. And even though God has been going to Gentiles with the Gospel of Grace today, he will return to that nation again in the future. According to Paul, to teach that Israel is gone forever is arrogance. Think of this, if God does not fulfill his promises to Israel, how can we be sure he will keep his promises to us? All Israel shall be saved. Don’t be ignorant of this fact.
